How it works

SimplyShot learns from the photos you already edited, then edits new shoots the same way. Everything runs on your own computer.

Three steps. Two of them once.

01

Teach it your style

Pick the Lightroom Classic catalogs you have already edited: one big catalog or twenty small ones. It needs at least 2,500 photos you developed yourself.

Let it learn

It studies how you move every slider, photo by photo, on your own graphics card. A few thousand photos take a few hours on a recent graphics card (it varies from computer to computer), and you can keep working meanwhile.

Edit a new shoot

Point it at a catalog you have just imported. Every photo gets your settings, written into the catalog, ready to review in Lightroom.

Import (10/4/26 18:42)

Every photo gets a step named after your profile. One click on «Import» and it is back to how it was.

Example

What it learns, and how it edits

Not a preset: it learns how you set each slider for each kind of photo, and writes ordinary Lightroom settings you can adjust as always.

Every slider

Exposure, white balance, tone, presence, color mixer, curves, detail and more: it learns how you set each one, not a preset.

Nothing to undo by hand

Each edited photo gets its own step in the develop history, so going back is one click in Lightroom.

Your edits are safe

It edits the photos you have not developed yet, and leaves the ones you already edited as they are. It backs up the catalog before writing anything.

One style per profile

Keep a profile for weddings and another for portraits. Each learns only from the catalogs you give it.

Private by design

Your photos and catalogs are never uploaded, and your style stays on your computer too, encrypted so it only opens with your account.

What it works with

What SimplyShot supports today. More is on the way.

Lightroom Classic

It reads and writes Lightroom Classic catalogs (.lrcat). It does not work with Lightroom, the cloud version, or with Capture One yet.

RAW photos in color

It learns from and edits RAW photos in color. Black and white edits and JPEG photos are not supported yet.

Windows and Mac

Windows 10 or 11 with a graphics card from NVIDIA, AMD or Intel, and Macs with Apple silicon or Intel. 16 GB of memory recommended.

An internet connection

To create profiles and edit catalogs, so your account can be checked. Your photos never travel.
