Your data

Your photos are your work, and your style is your business. Here is exactly what SimplyShot does with them, in plain words.

Do my photos ever leave my computer?

No. SimplyShot learns your style and edits your catalogs on your own computer. Your photos, previews, RAW files, catalogs, develop settings and profiles are never uploaded.

Do you train AI on my photos?

No. We never use your photos or your edits to train any model, ours or anyone else's. Your profile learns from your work for you, on your computer, and stays there.

Then what does go online?

Your account: your email, your plan and an anonymous identifier for each computer you activate, so SimplyShot can check your plan. The key that opens your profiles, which comes from us with a signed license and is never stored on your computer. Error reports and usage figures without file names or paths, which you can turn off in Settings. And, only if you turn it on, how accurate your profile is, as numbers.

Why does it need an internet connection?

To check your account before creating a profile or editing a catalog, and to get the key that opens your profiles. Nothing about your photos travels for that.

Who can open my profiles?

Only you, in the app, signed in to your account. Profiles are encrypted on your computer with a key that belongs to your account, so a copy of the files is useless anywhere else.

Can you see my catalogs or my clients' names?

No. File paths and names are removed on your computer before an error report is sent, and catalogs are never uploaded.

Do you use cookies or track me?

No advertising, analytics or tracking cookies. The website and the app keep only what you need to stay signed in, on your own device.

Do you sell or share my data?

We never sell it and never share it for advertising. It is handled only by the providers that run the Service for us, such as hosting and payments.

How do I delete my account?

From your account page, or by writing to us. Your account data is deleted. Keep in mind that the key that opens your profiles is deleted with it, so they can no longer be opened; your catalogs keep every edit already written.

The details, with your rights, are in the Privacy Policy. Questions? Write to us.
